Father’s Day!!! =) To the second half of
a whole person, fathers are the ones who help keep each family happy, healthy
and strong. There are a lot of fathers who doesn’t really play the role they
are supposed to, but there are those who try to be the best parent/husband they
can. It doesn’t take a lot to satisfy the needs of each family member, so
fathers should know how appreciated they are. Happy Father’s Day to my dad,
James, Dan, and all the other fathers out there!
From
my last post, James was supposed to fix my internet which wasn’t real
successful. Since his internet was going out at his house, he had the guy come out to
fix it. They couldn’t figure out the problem, so they just changed the modem
and now he has a faster internet connection. Therefore, he comes to the
conclusion that all I need is a new modem at my house since we’ve had the same
one since we first got internet. Since it wasn’t the exact same problem, I’m
not too sure that that will fix the problem. We’re going to try and replace it
soon, so hopefully that’ll resolve this issue. We’ll see.
And
now time to gripe… Of course everyone always seems to have a problem with Roxy’s.
Last night was no different. We were originally supposed to go to Paris, but because it was
Brian and Tan’s birthdays, everyone decides to head to Roxy’s. When we got
there, Dae wasn’t able to get in b/c his pants were supposedly too baggy.
Which, of course in our eyes, wasn’t the case. The funny thing about it was
that he always goes there dressed in a suit, but the one time he doesn’t, that’s
when he gets kicked out. So the bouncer said he can come in only if he gets a
VIP table and buys a bottle.. He was all “WTF?!?” He’s not frugal when it comes
to drinking either. He was just pissed that he got turned away, so he wasn’t
about to give em his money. As we’re walking back to the car, another group of
guys were asking us if we were leaving, too. They also got kicked out b/c of
their clothes. Atleast it wasn’t just an Asian thing =P But then again,
those guys were just real ghetto. We ended up going to Paris instead. Later, we heard that Alex
couldn’t get in either.. of course b/c of the dress code, so they met up with
us at Paris. In the less than 2 hours that we had at Paris, we actually ended up having more fun
there. Sarah agrees =) I guess being kicked out of Roxy’s just gave us a reason
to party harder at Paris
=P Since I haven't been able to update lately, here are pictures from random events since my last post. Enjoy!
